Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet has been a family business for three generations. Founded in 1969 in Hochheim am Main by Siegfried Wendel, the collection was moved to Brömserhof in Rüdesheim am Rhein in 1975.

After the death of Siegfried Wendel on 10 October 2016, his son Jens took over the day-to-day business. Today, his children – the third generation of Wendels – are already working in the family business. Their dedication guarantees visitors at Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet an unforgettable experience, taking them on a journey back in time.
